Eucharistic Adoration at St. Bernard

St. Bernard Church holds Eucharistic Adoration at their Chapel every Tuesday and Thursday fro 7:30 am to 10 pm.  They invite all of us to join them.

Stop in any time to worship the Lord.

Committed adorers are also needed.  To sign up for a one hour time slot to be on watch with our Lord, please contact Joanne (412-276-2584) at kosjm@aol.com or Barb (412-344-5892) at suscofam325@tmail.com.

Eucharistic Adoration is the respect and worship we give to Jesus, who is truly present to us under the appearance of bread and wine.  The Eucharist is a priceless treasure;  by not only celebrating it but also by praying before it outside of Mass we are enabled to make contact with the very wellspring of grace.

This time can be spent praising God and teaching your children the importance of Eucharistic Adoration as "...a proof of gratitude, an expression of love, and a duty of Adoration toward Christ our Lord."  (CCC 1418)

"The Holy Eucharist is the mystery of our faith.  Jesus said that faith can move mountains.  One person coming before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament represents all of humankind.
Every man, woman, and child on the face of the earth receives some new wonderful effect of God's goodness, of God's love, when you put your faith into action and come to visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
When you come before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament He appreciates this so deeply that you release the power of His love and graces to all His children throughout the world.
Spend an hour with Him and change the world."
