Our Lady of Grace Parish has a longstanding devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary as patroness of our parish. One of the expressions of this deep respect for the Mother of God is the traditional practice of a May Crowning ceremony. Following a 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning Mass in May, parishioners pray and process to the Marian Chapel in the narthex (vestibule) of the Church to sing and venerate the Blessed Mother with the placing of a floral crown on the beautiful carved statue of Mary.

OLG School children also hold a May crowning at the outdoor Marian Grotto, weather permitting.
